Our Story

Teemworks was born from two very different paths into the same obsession.

Erin studied industrial design but was always an artist at heart. Footwear became the perfect intersection of the two, and she never looked back. Eder grew up inside his family's shoe factory and spent over a decade overseas demanding excellence and building successful brands from the ground up.

We are two sides of the same pursuit. Erin leads with creative vision, where product design and art become one. Eder brings the technical mastery to make it real. Together we explore, examine, and hold each other to a standard most would consider unreasonable.

That obsession is what built Teemworks. We built this for brands who refuse to settle, and we hold ourselves to exactly that same standard.

A single shoe starts at $5,000+ and a capsule collection starts at $15,000+, with final investment varying based on a range of factors including scope, design complexity, material selection, molds, and custom ornaments. We also offer hourly engagements and retainer structures, so every collaboration can be shaped around what works best for you. Reach out and we will put together a proposal tailored to your project.
A single shoe typically takes 6 to 8 weeks, and a capsule collection 10 to 12 weeks, dependent on timely communication and decision-making at each stage.
A tech pack is the factory-ready document containing all design, pattern, and material specifications required to develop your shoe. Without it, development cannot begin. We build comprehensive tech packs as part of our development process, ensuring your vision translates precisely from concept to factory floor.
Fit is one of the most critical and most underestimated steps in footwear development. A beautifully designed shoe that does not fit correctly is not a successful shoe. We fit each style on a model, evaluate construction and proportion, and refine any problem areas until the shoe achieves both the right look and the right feel.
Typically, 2 to 4 color and material options per style are developed, with the goal of arriving at 1 to 2 production-ready samples. On average, roughly 30% of what is sampled advances to production, which is why each round of development is approached with care, precision, and a clear standard of quality.
Most factories have a minimum of 300 pairs per style. Smaller orders down to around 150 pairs are possible, but come with increased costs, as they require smaller, specialized facilities. A healthy brand order typically runs 3,000 to 5,000 pairs or more per style across all colorways and sizes. Whatever your scale, we will find the right production path for where you are.

Absolutely. We can be as involved as your project needs, from providing design, development, sourcing, technical support, and production services only to acting as a direct liaison between you and your existing manufacturer. If you have a factory in place and need expertise at any stage, we will slot in wherever we are needed most.
We are happy to sign an NDA before any creative conversation begins. Your ideas are safe with us. We provide a secure, confidential environment for every project. We ask only that any agreement does not include a non-compete clause, as we work with multiple clients across the industry.
Our expertise lives in the design and development process, from concept through final sales sample approval and production oversight.
